Darla Dimples: The Curvy Minnesota Bombshell With Beauty, Brains and 2 Million Followers

With spectacular curves, an infectious smile and the dimples that inspired her unforgettable nickname, Darla Dimples has built a social-media audience numbering in the millions.

But there's a twist to this Instagram bombshell's story.

Behind the bikinis and glamorous modeling photographs is Darla Shuttlesworth, a college-educated Minnesota woman with a degree in biology, a passion for sports and an academic background that makes her stand out in the crowded world of online glamour models.

Who Is Darla Dimples?

Born May 31, 1996, Darla Shuttlesworth—better known online as Darla Dimples—is 30 years old as of September 2026.

She is an American model, influencer, YouTuber and social-media personality. Reliable sources identify her with Minnesota, and her current social profiles continue to reference Minnesota as home. Her May 31 birthday makes her a Gemini.

She's also the youngest of five siblings.

Darla began posting to Instagram in 2016, and it didn't take long for social media to notice.

Two Million Followers—and Those Famous Curves

Darla became famous primarily for her bikini and lingerie modeling photographs, combining a dramatic hourglass figure with a warm smile and those unmistakable dimples.

The formula worked spectacularly.

Her main Instagram account, @darladimples_, currently has roughly 2.1–2.3 million followers, with Darla herself describing the account as having “2M+.” One September 2026 tracker showed about 2.13 million, while another recent tracker placed her total audience around 2.26 million.

That makes Darla much more than another Instagram model.

She's a genuine million-follower glamour personality.

Her modeling content has centered on bikinis, lingerie, fashion and figure-flattering outfits, while her reach has also made her attractive for promotional work involving beauty, apparel, swimwear and lifestyle products.

Beauty With a Biology Degree

Darla's educational background is one of the most interesting parts of her story.

Before social-media modeling became her calling card, Darla attended college and earned a degree in biology. Biographical sources identify her as an Augsburg University graduate, while some accounts also report that she pursued graduate-level physician-assistant studies.

It's an unusual contrast.

The woman attracting millions of Instagram followers with glamorous bikini photographs also spent years studying science.

That makes the Darla Dimples story considerably more interesting than the typical “beautiful woman becomes Instagram famous” biography.

Basketball, Running and the Lakers

Darla isn't simply posing when it comes to fitness.

She has a genuine interest in athletics, particularly basketball and running.

Basketball has even crossed over into her YouTube personality.

Darla has uploaded multiple videos discussing the Los Angeles Lakers, including commentary involving LeBron James.

Other biographical profiles associate her with travel, cooking and skating, although her best-established interests are basketball, running and fitness-related activities.

So while followers might initially arrive for the curves, Darla has always had more to talk about.

Welcome to “Darla's Court”

YouTube gave Darla an opportunity to move beyond still photographs.

Her channel became particularly associated with a vlog series called “Darla's Court,” where viewers could hear Darla's opinions and see more of the personality behind her modeling images.

It's an important part of her appeal.

Instagram can make someone famous for a photograph.

Video lets the audience discover whether there's actually a personality behind it.

Darla's mixture of vlogs, sports commentary, modeling and lifestyle content gave her a way to turn Instagram attention into something more personal.

Where Is Darla Dimples Now?

Darla continues to identify strongly with Minnesota. Her current LinkMe profile simply says “MN”, and another recent biography lists Minnesota as her current home. Some older sources have associated her with both Minnesota and Florida, so Minnesota is the safest currently verifiable location rather than claiming a specific city.

Her primary social identity remains @darladimples_.

Her official Linktree currently connects followers to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter and Facebook, making it the safest place to find her active accounts as handles change over time.

Brains Behind the Bombshell

There are plenty of beautiful women on Instagram.

There are considerably fewer who can combine two million followers, a biology degree, athletic interests, sports commentary and a successful glamour-modeling career.

That's what makes Darla Shuttlesworth more interesting than the nickname might initially suggest.

At 30 years old, Darla Dimples has taken a distinctive smile, an unforgettable curvy figure and plenty of camera confidence and transformed them into a personal brand followed by millions.

The bikinis might get the first click.

The dimples make her memorable.

But the woman behind them—with her science education, athletic streak and outspoken personality—is what makes Darla Dimples more than just another pretty face on Instagram.
