Strella Kat: The Dominican Bombshell Who Built a Following Around Her Incredible Curves

With dramatic curves, Dominican heat and an unmistakable talent for grabbing attention, Strella Kat was turning heads on social media long before curvy Instagram modeling became the enormous business it is today.

Born April 1, 1990, the 36-year-old Dominican model and social-media personality is a native of the Dominican Republic. Her April 1 birthday makes her an Aries, and her bold, confident online persona certainly fits the image.

In this video, viewers get another look at the voluptuous figure and playful camera presence that made Strella an internet sensation.

Strella became particularly famous for her extreme hourglass shape and famously curvy backside, with entertainment media in Brazil even covering changes in her figure and videos of the Dominican beauty dancing. One 2018 clip showed her dancing to Brazilian star MC Fioti's massive hit “Bum Bum Tam Tam” while modeling a Fashion Nova outfit.

Fashion has always worked naturally with Strella's image.

Her social feeds became showcases for bikinis, figure-hugging dresses, lingerie-inspired looks and outfits designed to emphasize rather than disguise her curves. At one point, her Instagram audience grew beyond 2 million followers.

Years after first attracting attention online, Strella Kat remains a memorable example of the Dominican bombshell aesthetic—glamorous, unapologetically curvy and completely comfortable making those curves the star of the show.
