Erica Banks: The Curvy Texas Rap Bombshell Who Went From “Buss It” to “On His Face”

Erica Banks has the curves of an Instagram bombshell—but unlike most of the women in our model profiles, she comes armed with a microphone.

Born October 5, 1998, in DeSoto, Texas, the 27-year-old American rapper is a Libra and one of the most recognizable female voices to emerge from the Dallas-area hip-hop scene.

Erica began writing poetry as a child before turning those writing skills into rap. She eventually left college to pursue music full-time, a gamble that paid off spectacularly when “Buss It” became a viral TikTok phenomenon.

And, appropriately, the viral challenge was all about transformation, confidence—and curves. Women would switch from casual clothes into glamorous outfits when the beat dropped, helping send Erica and the song into the mainstream.

The featured video is Erica's “On His Face,” showcasing the brash, sexy and unapologetically confident image that has become her trademark. It's less traditional “model profile” and more full-blown Texas rap-star glamour, with Erica commanding the camera as both performer and personality.

Beyond music, Erica joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in 2023, bringing her outspoken personality to reality television.

She's also increasingly known for her voluptuous figure and body-conscious fashion, something Erica has never exactly tried to hide.

From poetry-writing Texas schoolgirl to viral rap star, Erica Banks built her career on swagger, sex appeal and attitude.

And with Erica, there's plenty of all three.
